Terms of Use
Last updated: October 5, 2026
These Terms of Use apply to your use of Quintal Florido (quintalflorido.com, “the site”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
What the site provides
The site publishes free patterns, guides and tutorials about hand embroidery for general information and personal enjoyment. We work to keep the instructions clear and accurate, but we do not guarantee that every guide is free of errors or that you will get a particular result by following it.
Safety
Hand embroidery is a low-risk craft, but it involves needles, pins, scissors and sometimes an iron or a heat-transfer pen. Use tools with care, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and keep needles and pins stored safely. Children should be supervised by an adult, particularly for any step involving sharp tools, small parts or heat. Test marking pens and thread colors on a scrap before using them on a garment or household linen: we cannot guarantee how a particular product will behave on your fabric. You are responsible for deciding whether a project is suitable for you or for a child in your care.
Using our content
Unless stated otherwise, the text, illustrations and design of the site belong to Quintal Florido. You are welcome to:
- read, print and use the guides and patterns for personal, classroom, library or other non-commercial purposes;
- share a link to any page;
- quote short passages with a clear credit and a link back to the original page.
Please do not republish whole articles, patterns or illustrations, sell them, or present them as your own work without written permission.
Using the patterns
The patterns on the site are original designs made for Quintal Florido. You may stitch them for yourself, as gifts and in classes or stitching groups. You may also sell individual pieces that you have stitched by hand from them in small quantities. You may not sell or redistribute the pattern files, outlines or instructions themselves, or use the designs for mass production, without written permission.
Embroidery stitches are traditional techniques that anyone is free to use. Our rights relate to our own designs, written instructions and illustrations, not to the stitches themselves.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site. This includes attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with how the site works, sending spam or unlawful content through the contact form, or copying the site in bulk by automated means beyond what is needed for normal search engine indexing.

The site may link to third-party websites that we think are useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Quintal Florido is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from following its guides. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
